Ways John Shows Up As A Powerful Coach

—Being more focused on listening deeply and reflecting what he’s hearing, rather than allowing his mind to get distracted trying to come up with the best questions 

—Not making any suggestions

—Creating a safe space in which the client feels heard

—Not being responsible for what the client gets from the session and instead simply holds the space for her to think, while being a professional and leading the call in the direction of insight and action

—Checking in to ask what’s been her biggest insight

—Reflecting and acknowledging what she says 

—Honoring the silence and allowing it to do the work

—Asking permission 

—Maintaining the integrity of the time 

—Asking her how she would like the session (pure partnering)
